Had a WONDERFUL stay for one night, glad I've chosen it. The venue was in a remote location adjacent to the central japanese garden with fish pond, and the bus stop and the entrance to the cemetery.

Remote location of this traditional hotel was a bonus. Besides, we were close to the Koyasan cemetery, the bus stop and the entrance to the cemetery, and the garden with a fountain.

Everything was excellent, I loved my stay. All of the staff were ACCOMMODATING, exceptionally kind. The room was brand-new and huge, complete with an amazing vegetarian breakfast and the garden, for instance. This was a marvellous and lovely location very close to the mountain, the garden with a fountain, and neighbouring Ekoin.

It was a such great stay for one night. The hotel had a remote location and it was right by Jizo-in Buddhist Temple. The food was splendid, had variety of options.
The staff was not very friendly.

The newly constructed residential area is pristine and spotlessly clean, with beautifully designed rooms and comfortable beds. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and goes out of their way to make guests feel welcome. The traditional Shoujin-ryori breakfast is delicious and well explained. Guests can also enjoy the calming atmosphere and rejuvenating onsen facilities.
Communal meals, to encourage fraternization between travelers, would have been preferred instead of meals served in individual rooms.

Thank you for an excellent stay for one night. The location is great and beautiful, 1 mile from an ecclesiastic head temple. Furthermore, it's short walk to other temples, such as neighbouring Ekoin as well as the gorgeous cemetery of Koyasan...

I had a delightful stay at a peaceful temple in a great location. The room was spacious and had modern amenities like a TV and safe. The vegetarian cuisine was an interesting culinary adventure. The communal baths were relaxing and the morning ritual without photos was a nice touch. I highly recommend this temple for a unique and unforgettable experience.
